Mindset + Resilience Training for Peak Performance

Greater success doesn’t come from working harder or smarter. Strengthening your mindset and resilience is the key.

In just 10 weeks, you’ll learn how to sustain peak performance — with less stress, greater motivation, and better relationships.

This has been the most impactful training I’ve ever experienced. You develop powerful mental muscles to deal with challenges with much less stress and greater clarity, creativity, and resilience.

Introducing Positive Intelligence

Positive Intelligence® is a program that helps you develop greater awareness of what’s going on in your mind, and gives you tools to shift your focus from negative, self-defeating thoughts to positive perspectives and clear-headed action. Supported by an app and short, daily exercises, most people start experiencing powerful changes in just the first few weeks.

You’ll learn how to:

  1. 1
See your blindspots and patterns of self-sabotage. Research has identified 10 patterns of self-sabotage. You’ll discover which ones are holding you back and the impact they have on you and others.
  2. 2
Build resilience and agility. You’ll learn how to intercept negative thoughts and shift into more productive states. You’ll experience greater clarity, creativity, curiosity, and calm in your work and your life.
  3. 3
Take laser-focused action. When you can see yourself, others, and situations as they clearly are, it becomes easier to choose the most effective path and then take laser-focused action.

But what if you’re busy?

You know that a positive mindset and resilience are critical to the success of anything that requires focus, clarity, creativity, perseverance, recovering from setbacks — and involves people and relationships.

But how do you learn it? Especially when you have a full schedule and are in the trenches of your busy life?

And how will you know that it works? How will you notice a tangible impact where you say “Oh, yes, I AM noticing a difference” ?

Noticing it will come easy — you’ll see it in how you approach new opportunities, or react to difficult situations, or in how you interact with others. And people close to you will notice the changes, as well.

As for fitting it into your schedule, most of the program is presented in 2-minute bits of micro-learning, several times a day. So it’s actually easy to fit it in, and the lessons keep building because you’re applying these insights right away.

That’s the genius of this program. As proof, thousands of people worldwide have taken Positive Intelligence, including 1000+ CEOs and their executive teams. The results they’ve reported have been significant.

This program requires you to practice, but you’ll be surprised how easy it is to fit such substantial learning and growth into even the busiest of lives.

About Katrin (Kat) Windsor

  • Peak performance coach for leaders and teams.
  • Faculty with the world’s leading coaching training institute.
  • Former VP, Sales in Silicon Valley; Managing Director, North America, based in NYC; GM, EMEA in London and Paris. (fintech & edtech)
  • Trained & coached teams in 40+ countries, fluent in 5 languages

I know the pressures of changing market conditions, M&A’s, leading teams across time-zones and cultures, being chronically jet-lagged, all while dealing with internal politics and carrying P&L responsibility with big goals and trying to be a good spouse and mom and staying fit. Now, as a long-time executive coach, I also know how to help people change in profound ways.

Katrin and the Positive Intelligence sessions are hugely helpful. The PI sessions and Katrin's regular coaching really help me start my day with the right mindset and attitude. The app makes it a no-brainer to use these techniques every day.

Katrin was a wonderful facilitator in taking our through team through the Positive Intelligence program. It gave all of us some great shared language for talking about how we show up with each other, and has made a real difference in how connected we all are. This is especially important since we are no longer in shared office space — doing the work together virtually helped us to get to know each other better and in different ways.

PROGRAM DETAILS

The Positive Intelligence program lasts 10 weeks, with a variety of activities designed to expand your awareness and establish powerful new habits. It is said that learning anything new is 20% insight and 80% practice. The Positive Intelligence program not only leads you to deep insights about yourself, but also provides extensive practice so that the lessons you learn create new neural pathways in your brain.

Here are the components of the program:

  • A Saboteur Assessment to identify your unique collection of limiting behaviors.
  • 9 one-hour videos on key topics, ranging from self-command to saboteurs to sage powers and more.
  • 10 weekly group meetings to debrief the latest lessons, share experiences, and create mutual accountability.
  • 2 individual coaching sessions to help you better understand your unique profile and how to integrate these new insights into your life.
  • 10-15 minutes of daily practice in the companion app, to help what you're learning become a habit and be more readily accessible to you.
  •  Bonus #1: a copy of the NYT bestselling book Positive Intelligence by Shirzad Chamine.

The Science of Positive Intelligence

Background on Positive Intelligence

Positive Intelligence was created by Shirzad Chamine, a former CEO of the largest coach training organization in the world, who has trained faculty at Stanford and Yale business schools, advised preeminent C-Suite leaders, and coached hundreds of executive teams. He has spent a great amount of time successfully building all that is the POSITIVE INTELLIGENCE® brand and wants to bring these powerful principles and proven techniques to millions of people worldwide.

Scientific Roots of Positive Intelligence

Positive Intelligence brings together some of the most important ideas from neuroscience, cognitive behavioral psychology, positive psychology, and performance science. Based on research with more than 500,000 participants in over 50 countries, it helps people better understand the influences that steer them toward self-sabotaging behavior and, by rewiring neural pathways through daily practice supported by a custom app, they can choose more effective and life-affirming choices.

As someone whose job it is to ensure engagement and drive sales, this program (Positive Intelligence) has been extremely helpful. My team is more productive, and sales results demonstrate the impact. Sales results are one thing, but when the people you lead say things like “This program has changed my life,” that brings me joy.

FAQ

What is the time commitment?

There are four parts to the program: 1) a one-hour training video once a week; 2) a 30-minute group call once a week; 3) 10-15 minutes per day engaged in micro-learning modules (2-3 minutes each); 4) two 30-minute 1:1 coaching calls. With the exception of the group call, you can do these pieces when it fits your schedule. The program lasts for 10 weeks.

How soon will I notice a difference?

If you’re diligent about following the program, you should start to see changes within the first 2-3 weeks. Of course, there’s still so much else to learn — even after the 10-week program is finished. But most people start to see and feel changes by Week 3.

Why does this work?

Because you practice in short bursts every day — and because you apply the learning to your life right away. Research shows that new habits require 20% of insight and 80% of building muscle through practice — in this case, mental muscles. Most training doesn’t stick because it relies on insight alone. Habits can only be built by creating new neural pathways, which are created through practice and repetition.

I’ve got my sh*t together. Why do I need this?

Everyone has blindspots in their thinking, behavior, and how they are being perceived by others. The more you know about yourself, the better able you’ll be to navigate the tricky and challenging paths we all face.

Isn’t stress good for me?

Only in short bursts. Chronic stress, or thinking that you can only be successful if you are stressed, actually limits your success and threatens your health. In addition, if you’re breeding a culture of stress, you’re impacting the effectiveness and health of those around, as well.

Should we do this as a team?

That’s a great idea! There's incredible value in having a common language and shared experience about how to identify negative reactions and perspectives, and having the tools and shared accountability to select more effective and focused paths.

What is resilience and mental fitness?

Resilience is the ability to recover quickly from set-backs (rejection, losing a deal, missing your number, conflict). Mental Fitness is your capacity to respond to life’s challenges with a positive rather than negative mindset.
